Entries are now open for the third Seas the Day Surf Comp, taking place on the 21st & 22nd of June at the beautiful Kingscliff Beach! Registration is open to women of all ages and abilities from across Australia, with divisions for both Shortboard and Longboard.

Each heat will follow a condensed Hyundai ABB tag team relay format, running for 25 minutes. This means each team member will take turns catching their highest-scoring single wave, showcasing their skills within the allotted time. The heats will be judged based on standard Shortboard and 9 ft Longboard competition criteria, including wave selection, degree of difficulty, and maneuver execution.

Seas the Day promises to be an exciting showcase of skill and talent, and a celebration of the beauty and power of female surfing for all abilities.

HOW TO ENTER?

  1. Grab your clubmates/girlfriends and create your team of 3 Surfers – performance foamies, mid-lengths are all good.Due to the high popularity and demand please ensure that each participant is only part of one team per division (no double-ups!).
  2. Choose your division:Multiple teams allowed per club.
    • Open Women’s Shortboard 
    • Under 18 Junior Women’s Shortboard (groms welcome) 
    • Open Women’s Longboard – over 9ft
    • Salty Girls Mini Shredders – U12 division (parent assist allowed)

    Please note: Only one member of the team needs to register here, please include the other team members names at cart

PRIZES

$1000 prize money is contributed to the first place of each division
$50.000 total in cash prizes and give aways

CHILD MINDING BY SURFING MUMS

Surfing Mums Australia are proud to offer childcare for any mother who competes in the Seas the Day surfing competition. Accredited, local, child care professionals will be set up in a comfortable space  close to the athlete area. Mothers competing in the event, who have requested care in the registration process, can drop their children off to the space while they surf. Please fill out the childcare questions in the registration process to secure your spot.
